Volunteer Photographers

The Bradgate Park Trust is very lucky to have the support of many local photographers who help document the work of the Trust and our working life in caring for Bradgate Park and Swithland Wood. Many individuals, as well as groups, supply these images to the Trust for our free use in promoting the Charity. These images are featured across this website and our social media pages and are used with grateful thanks.

The work of these talented volunteers includes helping us record events, seasonal change, the work of the Rangers, as well the inspiring landscapes and heritage of the sites.

In keeping with GDPR guidelines, our volunteer photographers only take recognisable images of people where full photographic and filming consent has been obtained. At our events our volunteer photographers will wear ID and may approach you to gain consent to take photographs, please decline if you would prefer not to be photographed.

We are very lucky to have the support of the Leicester Forest Photographic Society, who are key partners of the Trust. Their membership has a Bradgate Park Photographic sub-group & around 20 photographers help in this work to produce a valuable archive about the Estate, and also undertake projects.  Many of their volunteers are nationally acclaimed, having won many prizes in competitions.

If you would like to know more about the work of the Society, please visit their website to find out more (please note this link will take you an external website.  Visit the Leicester Forest Photographic Website
