Join a knowledgeable guide for a leisurely summer walk through the Park, and discover the rich variety of wildlife that call Bradgate home. 

Explore a wide variety of habitats, from the winding River Lin to the grassy expanses of the upper park. At this time of year there is plenty to see at Bradgate, including butterflies, bees, dragonflies, birds, wild flowers, veteran trees - and, of course, our herds of red and fallow deer.

The walk is approx. 3 hours long.


What to bring? 

This walk will involve walking over uneven and potentially weather affected ground. Appropriate clothing and footwear are therefore recommended. Binoculars would also be great if you have them.


Meeting point 

Please meet at Newtown Linford Car Park (LE6 0HB), meeting your guide by the iron gates. Please aim to arrive approx. 10 minutes prior to the start of the activity.


Suitability

This walk is suitable for adults and children aged 10+.

Dogs are permitted, kept on a short lead at all times.


Accessibility

The walk will involve uneven terrain and walking on grass. It is not suitable for those in wheelchairs or mobility scooters.

Sessions will go ahead unless extreme weather is forecast.
