Come and join us for a Sketch and Stroll at Bradgate Park!

Led by local artist Richard Trigg, this event is suitable for participants with no art or drawing experience. Richard will guide you through different sketching techniques, offering hints and tips to help you unleash your creativity.

Date: Saturday 21st September 2024

Start Time: 10am prompt start

Meeting Point: Newtown Linford car park (By the Black Metal Gates)

Finish Time: 12:30 pm at Newtown Linford car park

Each Sketch and Stroll will start at a new location each month across Bradgate Park (each session is sold separately). Richard will meet you at your starting point to guide you across the morning in a delightful exploration of the Park selecting some of the best locations and points of interest to observe and capture the Park on paper.

Bradgate Park offers a wild and rugged landscape with dramatic rocky outcrops and gnarled old oak trees, many of which are well over 500 years old. The landscape offers some of the finest views and is rich in history, with a wild herd of red and fallow deer, the ruins of Bradgate House, Old John Folly and the beautiful winding River Linn.

This unique event will offer the opportunity to socialise and connect with fellow artists in a relaxed outdoors environment, whilst unwinding in nature. Creativity and beautiful sketches are guaranteed!
