Join us for an informative talk and walk into the fascinating world of bats! You'll learn about their biology, lifecycles, feeding habits, and why they are crucial to our ecosystem. As dusk falls, we'll venture out into the park equipped with bat detectors to try and spot some bats in flight and listen to their echolocation.

Please note that part of this event will involve walking around the park at night, so please wear suitable and warm clothing, and sturdy footwear for walking on uneven ground. Please ensure your ankles/legs are covered as we will be walking across tall, grassed areas.

·        You may wish to bring a torch to help you as the light fades, it will be dark by the time the tour finishes.

·         No dogs allowed.

·         Minimum age is 10+ and must be accompanied by an adult.
