Nearly eight centuries ago Bradgate Park was enclosed as a deer and hunting park.  Today it is still home to herds of Red and Fallow Deer.

  • These walks will be held during the rut bringing you close to master stags and bucks.
  • The walks are over surfaced tracks and grass.
  • They include rough terrain which is unsuitable for people in wheelchairs.
  • If you are planning a group visit, please enquire with the Estate Office to ensure we can accommodate you.
  • No dogs allowed on this walk.
  • This walk will involve walking over uneven and potentially weather affected ground, it will take place irrespective of weather conditions.
  • Appropriate clothing and footwear are therefore recommended.
  • Minimum age 12 years.
  • Parking charges apply and are not included in the ticket price.
