Age: 6 – 12 years (all children must be accompanied by an adult)

Journey 14,000 years into the past and explore the range of ancient cultures firsthand. Discover the secrets of the Stone Age as you handle artefacts, including drums, deer hide, and the bullroarer!  Feel the weight of history in your hands as you touch Stone Age tools crafted from flint, antler, and bone.

Bradgate Park is home to a special Stone Age site of European significance where nomadic hunting groups once camped during the warmer months of the year. Travel back with us and unleash your creativity as you try your hand at:

•  Crafting Stone Age jewellery
• Delve into the art of cave painting 
• Experience the thrill of spear-throwing and test your survival skills!
• Get hands on with our Stone Age tools

Price: £10.00 per child.

Age: 6 – 12 years. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Adults - you may get the chance to throw a spear too!

Times: 9:30 am – 11:30 pm.

Location: Meet at the Visitor Centre situated at the centre of the Park. 

Parking: We recommend parking at Hallgates car park LE7 7HQ. Parking is not included in the event ticket.

Please remember to factor in walking times from the car parks. From Hallgates car park it is a 15-minute walk and 30 minutes from Newtown Linford car park.

Cancellations: We are unable to refund tickets unless the event is cancelled by the Trust. All events will go ahead unless a severe weather warning is in place, affecting the safety of our staff and visitors.
