The Bradgate Park Trust organise a broad programme of events throughout the year.

This includes events that focus on the landscape, heritage and inspiration offered by Bradgate Park and Swithland Wood.

Sample of Events and Activities in Bradgate Park

We host showcase events such as outdoor theatre, cinema, Acoustic Folk Music Picnic and our annual Proms Spectacular, in the walled Ruins of Bradgate House.

We help people discover more with guided walks that explore the heritage and management of the sites from hour-long tasters, through to six hour Rambles with a Ranger.

We focus on various aspects of the Park with Tours and Viewings of our built heritage and the Ruins of Bradgate House and Old John.

Working with local creative practitioners and artists  we offer sessions including poetry, creative writing, photography and artistic skills, as part of our Bradgate Inspires programme.

We provide educational family-friendly events such as our popular Emergency Services Day, Wildlife Weekend and Living History weekend.

Copies of our Events and Guided Walks Calendars containing dates, times and other useful information can be downloaded here.

The printed versions are available to take away from various locations on site at the Park.
