Hare Willow Weaving Workshop Join us for a creative full-day willow weaving experience with local expert Kate, taking inspiration from the surroundings of Bradgate Park. This workshop is suitable for beginners and runs as a small group, ensuring plenty of hands-on support and guidance throughout the day. All materials and tools are provided, along with expert step-by-step instruction. You’ll learn traditional willow weaving techniques and create your own large sculptural piece to take home, inspired by the wildlife and landscape of the park, perfect for your garden or indoors! What you’ll make:Create your own large willow Hare sculpture inspired by Bradgate Park’s wildlife. Location: Meeting Room, Deer Barn Building, Bradgate Park When: Sunday 28th June 2026 Time: Arrival from 9:45am. Workshop runs 10:00am – 4:00pm Refreshments: Water, Tea and coffee will be provided throughout the day. Please bring your own packed lunch or you can use the Deer Barn Cafe onsite. We will supply a slice of cake for you! Ticket Price: £100 per person What to bring/wear:Comfortable clothing suitable for crafting. Optional: apron or old clothes (willow work can be messy)Layers (the venue can vary in temperature) Your Tutor: Kate is an artist, willow weaver, and experienced workshop host with a passion for transforming natural materials into beautiful sculptural forms. Inspired by her first glimpse of a willow sculpture, she quickly fell in love with the craft and now shares that enthusiasm through hands-on workshops. Kate is known for her welcoming approach, helping complete beginners create pieces they’re proud of. We can't wait to see your creations!
