Join us as we take you on a magical evening chronological tour of Bradgate Park.

This evening tour is a delightful blend of natural wonders from ancient geological formations, historic architecture buried beneath your feet, tales of treason, and our connection with Lady Jane Grey - the first real Queen of England!

Additional Information

Arrival/Start Time: Please arrive 5.45pm for a 6pm start. Your guide will meet you at the Newtown Linford Park entrance, but the metal gates

Duration: The tour is expected to last approximately 2 hours, but please allow additional time should the tour run over.

Terrain: The tour involves both paved paths and natural trails. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes, suitable for wet and muddy terrain.

Weather: The event will take place rain or shine, so please dress accordingly and bring any necessary weather protection.

Ticket Information: Tickets are non-refundable unless canceled by the trust in extenuating circumstances. Tickets are £7.50 per person

Note: This event is suitable for adults and children over 12 years of age and is a fantastic opportunity for nature enthusiasts, and history buffs, to experience the beauty and history of Bradgate Park.

Our walk through the park will explore the answer (which appears to flow uphill) and also some of the other ways water was used in the park. Swithland Wood is an attractive and atmospheric area of Ancient Woodland, covering 170 acres. Rich in history and wildlife, it is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The Wood is an important habitat for a wide range of plant and animal species, with rocky outcrops and old quarries.
