DEER BARN TEA ROOM

Situated in centre of Bradgate Park by tarmac carriageway (between the Ruins and Hallgates car park and next to the Visitor Centre) See the detailed map for location.

Offering tea, coffee, cold drinks, ice cream, confectionary, crisps and a wide range of light refreshments, home-made cakes, cream teas and hot & cold snacks.

Seating within the Tea Room, on the patio (with views over Bradgate Park and Cropston Reservoir) or on the adjacent picnic area.

Situated adjacent to the main car park at Newtown Linford – park in the car park and follow the signs over the wooden bridge over the river and up through the Cottage garden.

Free Wi-Fi at Newtown Linford and the Visitor Centre!

We now offer Vistors to the Newtown Linford Tearoom and the Visitor Centre free wi-fi access. Just ask for the access code when you order your food and drinks or from the Reception desk in the Vistor Centre. Check your email or upload your photos of the Park!

Visitor Experience Manager

High quality Tea Room facility offering tea, coffee, cold drinks, ice cream, confectionary, crisps and a wide range of lunches, light refreshments, homemade cakes, cream teas and hot & cold snacks.

Newtown-linford-tea-room

Seating within the new Tea Room Conservatory and also at picnic tables in the adjoining garden and lawns.

Have your own picnic on grassed areas sweeping down to the River Lin (bring your own rug) and perhaps finish it off with one of our ice creams!

The Country Park Shop, located in the adjoining 300 year old Cottage, offers a wide variety of gifts and souvenirs, together with a range of books, publications and leaflets on the Country Park, local and natural history and the Charnwood Forest as well as local Tourist Information.

IceCream-in-the-ParkICE CREAM SALES

Visitors can purchase Ice Creams at:-

Deer Barn Tea Room (centre of park); Visitor Centre and also Country Park Tea Room
(off Newtown Linford car park)

Ice Cream Vans are parked (at busy periods) at Hallgates (Cropston) and Hunts Hill (Old John) car parks

Ice Cream Tricycles stop along the carriageway through Bradgate Park (at busy periods).
