Wartime Walk Join our knowledgeable volunteers for a fascinating ramble around the Park exploring Bradgate's connection to war - from the Civil Wars in the 17th Century to World War I and II. This moderate walk will cover approximately 4 miles and hundreds of years of history, exploring an often overlooked but fascinating area of Bradgate Park's history. Price? £7.50 per person. Please note: parking charges apply. When? 9.30am-1pm, Saturday 24th June The walk is approx. 3.5 hours long. Meeting point Please meet at Hunt's Hill Car Park. Our volunteers will meet you by the pay and display machine. Please aim to arrive approx. 10 minutes prior to the start of the walk. Please note: this walk will end at the Deer Barns Visitor Centre and Café. Suitability This is a moderate walk is suitable for children aged 14+. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on lead at all times. Accessibility This is a walk of approximately 4 miles, and will include uneven terrain and grass tracks.
