Join a knowledgeable guide for a leisurely walk through the Park, and discover the species that are emerging as Spring bursts into bloom. 

This springtime wildlife walk will explore the birds, mammals, and insects that live on the Park, led by an expert guide. 


Adult: £7.50

Child (under 18): £5 

Please note: children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Car parking charges apply.

The walk is approx. 2 hours long.

What to bring? 

This walk will involve walking over uneven and potentially weather affected ground. Appropriate clothing and footwear are therefore recommended. Binoculars would also be great if you have them.

Meeting point 

Please meet at Newtown Linford Car Park (LE6 0HB), meeting your guide by the iron gates. Please aim to arrive approx. 10 minutes prior to the start of the activity.

Please note: the activity will end at the Deer Barns Café and Visitor Centre.


This walk is suitable for adults and children aged 8+.

Sorry, no dogs allowed.


The walk will involve uneven terrain and walking on grass. It is not suitable for those in wheelchairs or mobility scooters.

Sessions will go ahead unless extreme weather is forecast.

  • We are unable to make refunds for this event, except in the circumstance of the event being cancelled due to extreme weather conditions.
