Join the ranger team and volunteers on this family friendly walk to learn the bats at Bradgate!

Join a Ranger and Volunteers to take a glimpse in to the wonderful world of bats!  This family friendly talk and walk will introduce you to bats, their feeding habits and why they are so important.  As dusk falls, we’ll head out into the Park, armed with bat detectors, to see if we can spot any in flight and listen to their echolocation!

An element of this event will involve walking around the Park at night. Please wear suitable, warm clothing and sturdy footwear for walking over uneven ground.  Bring a torch if you wish. No dogs allowed.

Minimum age is 5+

Please note car parking fees apply and are not included in the ticket price.

Please be aware, we have volunteer photographers who record events on behalf of the Park, the images may be used for Park Archives and for future marketing purposes for example via our website and social media.

Please park at Hallgates Car Park on the left hand side as you enter (LE7 7HQ) and meet outside of the Visitor Centre for 7.30pm prompt start. Allow 15/20 minutes to walk from the car park to the Visitor Centre. For parking charges please click on the link HERE
