Queen Jane Rose Petal Service

As part of this special week marking the history of Lady Jane Grey, the Nine-Day Queen, we are offering the opportunity to join us in a rose petal scattering around the lake in the ruins. This will be following a short service by a member of the local clergy. This will provide the opportunity to reflect on the short life of Lady Jane Grey as she was proclaimed Queen on the 10th July 1553.

The team will greet you at the front of the ruins where you will be led into the Chapel.  Places are free but limited, please 'purchase' the ticket below, your email confirmation will be your ticket for the event.

Highly recommend you bring a camera as photography is encouraged at this very special unique event.

Please wear suitable footwear and clothing as the event does involve walking off main paths and unfortunately we cannot guarantee the weather!

*No parking on site, car parking fees of £4 apply and a walk to the Ruins.

Dogs are allowed but must be held on leads at all times during this event.

Please be aware, we have volunteer photographers who record events on behalf of the Park, the images may be used for Park Archives and for future marketing purposes for example via our website and social media.
