Bradgate Inspires

Sometimes poetry works best outdoors, when views of landscape and wildlife can help to free it from the printed page.

On this walk, you’ll experience Bradgate Park, as well as a selection of poems read by poet in residence Kerry Featherstone.  Chosen for their resonance with the place, and including some of Kerry’s own writing from his visits to Bradgate Park, the poems might show you Bradgate – and poetry – in a new light.  A healthy stroll with breaks to listen to poetry – it's better than Saturday shopping!

Please be prepared to walk for the best part of a couple of hours: bring sensible shoes, and something to drink.
