Are you interested in rocks? Did you know that there were volcanoes in Charnwood millions of years ago?  If you would like to find out more, come along to our “After the Volcanoes” walk to find out the impact they had on the geology of the Lower Park.

The walk starts from the Visitor Centre in the centre of the Park, and the most appropriate car park is Newtown Linford which is where the walk will end (LE6 0HB for Sat Nav). Please allow for a walk of around 25 minutes to reach the Visitor Centre.

Led by an enthusiastic volunteer, the walk covers about 1 mile and lasts approximately 1½ hours.

Pre-booking is essential for this event as places are limited.
