Local and national names will join the Trust to celebrate Bradgate Park with a family friendly music day. Bring a picnic, relax and enjoy a great day out in the wonderful setting of Bradgate Park, Leicestershire's historic deer park.

OHooley TidowWe are proud to have a fantastic line-up of local and national names. The event will open with Grand Union 3, followed by Kodiak Shack. Also joining the day are Paul McClure, Vikki Clayton, Grace Petrie and Moore, Ross and Rutter. Lady Maisery are headlining this event.

Tickets are £15 per person. Children under 10 are free to attend - but please ask for a child ticket, or download on booking. Tickets can be purchased at our Shop and Visitor Centre. We can now take over the phone bookings (with payment by credit card) on 0116 236 2713 extension 25 between 11 and 3.30pm. Please note if you wish to have tickets posted to you there is an additional £1 admin charge to cover postage (just 1 charge for all tickets). Otherwise please arrange to collect them at the Visitor Centre which is in the heart of the Park and open daily.

Car parking of £4 is pay and display on the day and not included in the ticket price.
Start time 12.00 midday (Entrance to the Ruins from 11.00 via the East Gate nearest the Visitor Centre side of the Ruins).

A chance to see and hear national and local acoustic/folk songwriters in the wonderful setting of Bradgate House Ruins.

Bring a picnic, relax and listen to superb music!

No alcohol sales, so bring your own.

Alonzi Ice cream will have their popular ice cream bikes in the Ruins, and the Trust will be selling tea, coffee and cold drinks on site.

Bradgate Park Trust volunteers will be have a number of displays and some simple activities for younger visitors including activities inspired by Bradgate Park.

Sorry due to the amount of picnics and young children, other than assistance dogs - no dogs allowed.

Car parking at the three Bradgate Park car parks is available but charges apply. Newtown Linford (entrance within the village, off Bradgate Road – alongside the use Post Code LE6 OHB for SatNav;
Hallgates (Cropston) (off Roecliffe Road. Use Post Code LE7 7HQ for SatNav; We will also be arranging additional car parking on a adjoining fieid at this location.
Hunts Hill (Old John) (off Sharpley Hill/Warren Hill) and opposite turn into Benscliffe Road use Post Code LE6 OAH for SatNav).

Please note there will NOT be a beer tent (please bring your own); Access to the Ruins from 11.00; Ruins must be vacated by 20.15.


Please do remember this is a bargain price event and is NOT with all the festival goodies you might be used to! This is a fundraiser for the charity and will be run by our volunteers on the day. Based on last year PLEASE remember:

  1. No BBQs; dogs or camping....
  2. Tickets will be checked on the gate and we will have simple hand stamps if you choose to leave part way through.
  3. We have been asked if tickets are refundable due to illness/now not coming/rain - sorry this is not the case.
  4. No beer tent - but we are happy for you to bring your own (we allow glass but please alert us if there are breakages as the area is rich in wildlife)
  5. You will have to walk to the Ruins from either of our 3 car parks (varies 1-1.5 miles) - it is a pleasant walk (although hilly if you park at Hunts Hill). Check our website under visit us for parking details.
  6. Car Parking is £4 for the whole day - machines take coins - no cards or change. Cars can not be left in car parks over night
  7. Port-a-loos on site, or a 5 -10 min walk to our toilet blocks
  8. No drinking water in the Ruins - there will be sales
  9. There will be drink and icecream on sale in the Ruins
  10. Deer do live in the Ruins - the grass will have been cut a few days before but ... they do poo!
  11. Please do clear up your litter/take it home.. help us care for the historic ruins
  12. No tents/mega umbrellas; high backed chairs - do consider others around you..... no there isnt seating, bring rugs; low backed chairs
  13. First aid will be on site
