Barrow Union Workhouse
Sue Templeman talks about the Barrow Union Workhouse, which was based on the Rothley/Mountsorrel border and served more than thirty parishes, including Newtown Linford and Bradgate. This fascinating talk includes the stories of several individual residents and the different circumstances which led to them turning up on the steps of this workhouse.
