The ability to fly has, for longer than recorded history, been a dream for all mankind.  Now a reality, courtesy of technology, it was once seen as a god-like power and something we could only hope to copy.

For this reason, any number of myths and mysteries were attributed to birds.  Migration took them away for months at a time.  Where did they go and why?

Any number of strange ideas were associated with birds and some continue to this day.  An illustrated talk looking at our feathered friends and the many mysterious and often incredible beliefs our ancestors attributed to them.
