Local and national names will join the Trust to celebrate Bradgate Park at our family friendly music fundraising day. Bring a picnic, relax and enjoy a great day out in the wonderful setting of Bradgate Park, Leicestershire's historic deer park.

We are proud to have a fantastic line-up of local and national names performing in the Ruins of Bradgate House,  across seven sets starting from 11am, with the event closing at 7pm.

Please be aware, we have volunteer photographers who record events on behalf of the Park, the images may be used for Park Archives and for future marketing purposes for example via our website and social media.

Children under 10 are free to attend, a 'free' ticket must be selected when purchasing tickets. 

Your email receipt is your ticket - please check you enter details correctly on the website and keep this email safe as the confirmation needs to be brought with you for admission. 

Car parking of £4 is pay and display on the day and not included in the ticket price. Extra car parking at Hallgates Cropston LE7 7HQ

Bradgate Park Trust volunteers will be have some simple activities for younger visitors including activities inspired by Bradgate Park. Our volunteers will be circulating with information about supporting our work... please remember it is a fundraiser for the Charity that cares for Bradgate Park and Swithland Wood - each year we have to raise £1.2 million to deliver our work.

No alcohol sales, so bring your own.

Alonzi Ice cream will have their popular ice cream bikes in the Ruins.

Sorry due to the amount of picnics and young children, other than assistance dogs - no dogs allowed.

Car parking at the three Bradgate Park car parks is available but charges apply. Newtown Linford (entrance within the village, off Bradgate Road – alongside the use Post Code LE6 0HB for SatNav;
Hallgates (Cropston) (off Roecliffe Road. Use Post Code LE7 7HQ for SatNav; We will also be arranging additional car parking on a adjoining field at this location.
Hunts Hill (Old John) (off Sharpley Hill/Warren Hill) and opposite turn into Benscliffe Road use Post Code LE6 0AH for SatNav).

For blue badge access please call our Visitor Centre 0116 236 2713 ex 25 10.30-5pm to book and they will advise. You will need to come to LE7 7HQ at a pre-agreed time. Car parking tickets (cash only) are still required.

Please note there will NOT be a beer tent (please bring your own); Access to the Ruins from 10.00; Ruins must be vacated by 19.15.

Allow time for you walk from either the Newtown Linford car park (0.7 miles through Little Matlock) or 1.2 miles from Hallgates via the Reservoir and (FREE to visit) Visitor Centre. There are signs guiding the route. Car parking is £4 for the day.

FAQS

Please do remember this is a bargain price event and is NOT with all the festival goodies you might be used to! This is a fundraiser for the charity and will be run by our volunteers on the day. Based on last year PLEASE remember:

  1. No BBQs; dogs or camping....
  2. Tickets will be checked on the gate on first entry, we will have simple hand stamps if you choose to leave part way through.
  3. We have been asked previously, whether tickets are refundable due to illness/now not coming/rain - sorry this is not the case.
  4. No beer tent - but we are happy for you to bring your own (we allow glass but please alert us if there are breakages as the area is rich in wildlife)
  5. You will have to walk to the Ruins from either of our 3 car parks (varies 1-1.5 miles) - it is a pleasant walk (although hilly if you park at Hunts Hill). Check our website under 'visit us' for parking details.
  6. Car Parking is £4 for the whole day - machines take coins - no cards or change provided. Cars cannot be left in car parks over night
  7. Port-a-loos on site, or a 5 -10 min walk to our toilet blocks
  8. No drinking water points in the Ruins. There will be drink and ice cream on sale in the Ruins at the event.

  10. Deer do live in the Ruins - the grass will have been cut a few days before but ... they do poo!
  11. Please do clear up your litter, take it home.. help us care for the historic ruins
  12. No tents/mega umbrellas; high backed chairs - do consider others around you..... no there isnt seating, bring rugs; low backed chairs
