ORGANISED ACTIVITY/SPONSORED WALKS
Organisations/individuals who wish to use the Country Park for any organised activity, sponsored walk or other pre-arranged activity must make early contact with the Estate Secretary. A preliminary discussion will ascertain if the proposed activity can be authorised by the Trust and the conditions that will apply to the event. Should consent be granted then organisers will be expected to make a donation to Trust funds in recognition of the facilities used and the fact that the Trust is itself a Registered Charity. We aim to be as supportive as possible of small-scale and/or local charitable or recreational events so long as they do not cause damage to the Park or inconvenience our visitors. Please note that charity law requires that we cover our costs when hosting events for charities with different objects to our own.
The Bradgate Park & Swithland Wood Country Park is managed by the Bradgate Park Trust (Registered Charity no 521476). The senior officer of the Trust is the Land Agent & Surveyor. Contact:-
