BRADGATE PARK GUIDED WALKS

These walks give a superb insight into the Country Park, its history and natural history and the running of the Estate.  Some Walks include areas of the Park not normally open to visitors.

Places on most walks are not pre-bookable.  Just arrive by the designated time at the starting point where you will be met by a Country Park Ranger. 

The Young Deer and Old John Tower walks are pre-bookable – telephone the Estate Office to reserve a place.

Children are welcome on all walks (except for young children on the Young Deer walks) and must be accompanied by an adult.

Duration of Walks range between One and a half  - Two and a half hours.

Certain of the walks may not be suitable for people with disabilities because of the rough terrain and steep/rocky slopes (see Guided Walks leaflet for further details).  Dogs on leads are allowed (except for all the Deer and Veteran Tree walks).  No dogs allowed in Old John Tower.

Guided Walk Charges.
History / Swithland Wood / Geology / Woodlands  / Deer (October) Walks - £3.00 per adult £1.50 per child (children under 5 yrs free). 
Pay Ranger on the day.  

Young Deer/Old John Tower Walks (pre-bookable and marked*) - £5.00 per person.
